Jessy de Smet was born in Zottegem, Belgium. Her first dance single "I
Am Free" was a big club smash followed by a string of hits - "Love", "You
Got To Get Up" and "Innocence." The latter achieved Gold status and the "Ultratop
Dance Chart Award" for 1998 in Belgium. In 1999 she received a European
nomination for "Best Female Singer" and "Best Dance Act."
After promoting and remixing Jessy's "Regardez-moi" and "Head Over Heels" videos,
her single "How Long" and album "Rain" got licensed
in the US in mid 2005 by Water Music Dance for CD releases and various compilations.
