Director Alexander Cartio began his artistic journey as a musician at the age of 16 when he joined the renowned European boy band Caymen. After a few successful years of songwriting and performing with the band the young musician found his true gift in combining the art of music with film and creating music videos. 

Alexander graduated from the Stockholm school of media and arts in 2001 with honors, specializing in directing and editing. Shortly after Mr. Cartio found himself in the renowned music scene of Stockholm, directing videos for such popular European artists as Until, Arash, Cameron Cartio, Qwan, Rebecca Zadig and others.

Later he moved to Los Angeles, CA and established his own production company. In the past three years the young director has produced and directed some 40 music videos, hitting top ten charts on MTVE, MTV Russia, VIVA and Scandinavian ZTV and becoming one of the hottest directors in Europe.
