CAROLINE LUND "MOVE YOUR BODY - THE MIXES"

CAROLINE LUND releases "MOVE YOUR BODY - THE MIXES"Caroline Lund officially released a seven-track remix album for her single, “Move Your Body” with a variety of club-ready mixes from world-famous producers. The song, already featured alongside Madonna and Charo on the popular “The White Party” DJ mix by David Knapp, is reworked with mixes from popular dance producers Wayne G and Outer Sunset.

This is the first multi-track album release from Bay Area-based Lund, who has been a staple of the Bay Area music and art scene over the last 10 years as a club performer and dancer, actress and singer. A recognized local celebrity, Caroline has been a regular performer at legendary San Francisco clubs Ruby Skye, Club Townsend, The End Up and Club Mezzanine.

“Move Your Body” showcases Caroline’s sultry vocals and exotic Middle-Eastern chants over heavy house beats and shimmering electro synths. The original track was produced by Leo Frappier, whose credits include remixes for Rihanna, Nina Hagen, Kristine W., Crystal Gayle and the late disco legend, Sylvester. Frappier is also half of the production and remix team Outer Sunset, signed to Perfect/Perfecto Digital (Paul Oakenfolds Label), who contributed three of the album’s mixes. The song was written by Vincent Brantley a.k.a Van Gogh (Boys II Men) who, among other hits, co-wrote and co-produced New Edition’s 80s hit "Cool It Now."

International DJ Wayne G is behind three of the seven remixes on the album. Wayne’s residence at London's famous Heaven nightclub made him a household name and he has since become a much sought-after DJ at the world’s biggest clubs. His previous production credits include chart-topping remixes for artists including Cher, Madonna, Kylie, Deborah Cox and Whitney Houston.

A music video for “Move Your Body” has been released to accompany the launch of the album. The video is the work of MTV-award winning video producer (MTV/LOGO’S “Best of 2008 Top Ten Videos”) Evan Cowden, who has produced videos by Kristine W. and Pepper MaShay.
